The leather for this Navy Blue wallet comes from tanneries in France and Spain that Carré Royal has sourced from for many years, selected for the quality of their hides and the care of their work. Full-grain means the hide is used as it is — its natural surface, its grain, its subtle variations all preserved. Nothing is sanded or corrected.

Navy blue in full-grain calf leather has a particular depth: the colour sits within the hide rather than on top of it. Over time it develops a gentle lustre, and the grain becomes more defined with handling. After a year of daily use, the surface has a character it did not have on the first day.
