Letters on Know-How and Creativity

These letters were born from my passion for Carré Royal—its contemporary aesthetic world, its noble materials, and its day-to-day construction, shaped by a constant conversation with artisans, artists, and material makers in France and across Europe (leathers, textiles, metal parts, papers, etc…).

Through these meetings, I have the priviledge to discover many forms of know-how, meet people who are passionate about their craft, their professions, their places, and who are driven by a desire for excellence.

These letters are also meant to highlight the Intelligence of the Hand—how it helps protect our heritage—and to prepare for the creations and the energy of tomorrow. Through these letters, I want to share my reflections with you on materials, structure, colors, the role of time, everyday use, and transmission (passing knowledge on).

I share impressions, research, and—sometimes—my sense of wonder at refinements, techniques, exceptional creations, buildings, works of art, or simply at Beauty and Harmony, right at the heart of our journey.
